maxon at Hannover Messe 2026: Robotics drives, latest portfolio additions, and functional safety

At Hannover Messe 2026, maxon will present itself with an updated trade fair appearance. From April 20 to 24, the maxon Germany team will showcase the latest highlights from our product portfolio.
At Hannover Messe, maxon traditionally introduces its latest portfolio additions. Here is what visitors can expect at our booth:
Robotics solutions: maxon’s High Efficiency Joints (HEJ) bring motion to robotics. They enable humanoid robots to operate in unstructured environments and are also suitable for industrial applications. At Hannover Messe, we will present the proven High Efficiency Joint 90, as well as the new, smaller HEJ 70.
Drives: In our highlight showcases, we present a wide range of maxon drives combined with gearheads and sensors. Among them is the EC frameless DT 50 M: easy to integrate into customer applications thanks to its separate stator and rotor design, offering high efficiency and dynamic torque. Another example is the ECX PRIME 16L - the long version of our brushless motor with ironless winding. These are just two of many new additions.
Gearheads: Since launching our new GSW strain wave gear series, we have continuously developed it further. Our gearheads transmit high torques precisely and efficiently and can be combined with a wide range of maxon drives. In Hannover, we will, for example, present the GSW 20 in combination with an ECX PRIME drive.
Industrial drives: Our IDX series meets industrial standards and is a proven plug-and-play solution - for industrial applications or autonomous vehicles in intralogistics. At Hannover Messe, we will present the IDX 70 Safe Control, featuring integrated functional safety up to SIL3 / PL e, Cat. 3.
Precision, performance and integrated safety
Electronics: Functional safety is also becoming increasingly important in this field, which is why maxon continues to develop its control solutions accordingly. One example is the EPOS4 Compact 60/20 STO (Safe Torque Off). Visitors can also see the smallest controllers in the maxon portfolio: ESCON2 Nano 24/2 and ESCON2 Micro 60/5. We will also present the MiniMACS6, our freely programmable multi-axis controller, now also available with a PROFINET interface. In addition, we will demonstrate our predictive maintenance solution, maxon MIND, and explain why the motor is the best sensor in a customer application.
Parvalux: The UK-based company Parvalux, part of maxon, specializes in small and medium-sized geared motors. Parvalux solutions drive windshield wipers in high-speed trains or move patients in hospitals. At Hannover Messe, we will show how maxon and Parvalux products can be ideally combined, for example, the maxon IDX industrial drive with the Parvalux GB 28 right-angle gearbox.
At our booth, we will also present various live demos showcasing our drive solutions in action. The maxon Germany team will be available for any questions.
You can find us at Hannover Messe in Hall 13, Booth C51.
