Headquarters in Switzerland
Administration, marketing, the business units, research and development departments, our test laboratory, and production are located at our headquarters in Sachseln.
Germany
Production and one of our R&D units are located at our site in Sexau near Freiburg.
USA
Since 2013, maxon has also had a presence in the USA with assembly and R&D at its production site in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Hungary
Our third production plant in Veszprém employs state-of-the-art processes in a 2,100 m2 facility.
Spain
Since 1995, maxon Ibérica has been operating from Madrid. In 2025, the maxon group expanded its footprint in Spain by establishing a dedicated digital services hub focused on Salesforce, robotics, and smart factory solutions.
South Korea
maxon’s Cheonan site is home to production units for brushless DC motors as well as an R&D unit
France
Since fall 2014, mdp has officially been part of the maxon Group. Sales, development, and production are located at the Neyron site.
United Kingdom
Parvalux Electric Motors Ltd has been part of the maxon Group since 2018. Parvalux moved to a new purpose built manufacturing facility in 2023 based in Poole.
