Introducing the new maxon EC-i 70 800W BLDC motor

maxon is excited to announce the release of the EC-i 70 800W BLDCmotor,  the latest addition to the proven EC-i motor family.

Based on the established IDX70 motor design, the EC-i 70 800W is a brushless, iron-cored inner-runner motor specifically developed for cost-optimised applications. With integrated Hall sensors supplied as standard, it enables fast and straightforward integration into customer systems.

Two winding variants are available:

Part no. 940649 – 48 V winding. Capable of 3290rpm at 2250mNm.
Part no. 952543 – 60 V winding. Capable of 3340rpm at 2360mNm

The EC-i 70 800W is compatible with GPX70 planetary gearheads with up to 87.5Nm (Standard, Low Noise, and Ultra Performance), as well as GB9, GB12, and GB65 right-angle gearheads with up to 300Nm, offering flexibility across a broad range of applications.

Motor control solutions include:

ESCON2 servo controllers for speed and current control
EPOS4 positioning controllers with optional Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality
