New BLDC motor speed and torque controllers

New BLDC motor speed and torque controllers

BLDC motor controller in three flavours. A plug-in module with pin hearers, a compact version with connectors and a housed version with spring clamp connections.

maxon motor Australia are proud to announce the extension of the popular ESCON motor controller series with the new ESCON2 60/12 in three variants. No matter what your connection preference or space constraint it is likely maxon motor Australia will have a suitable motor control unit for you. If not, we can build a motherboard to house a module in the shape of your choice, with connectors of your choice.

Featuring 1440W of peak power, a supply voltage window between 10V and 60VDC, 12A continuous and 24A peak with a maximum efficiency of 97.5% the ESCON2 60/12 unit displays a high power density. Field Oriented Control is possible to 120,000rpm on a 2 pole BLDC motor. Motor hall sensors can be used along with either digital incremental encoders, SSI absolute encoders or BISS C absolute encoders. Speed, torque and direction can be controlled via CAN communication or digital and analogue I/O. Updated configuration and monitoring software, Motion Studio, is freely available on the maxon website and the latest version includes modes Cyclic Synchronous Torque and Cyclic Synchronous Velocity. An 85ºC maximum operating temperature allows for use in harsh operating environments such as the oil, gas and mining industries. If a multi axis motherboard is required or incorporation with a microprocessor or PLC is needed maxon motor Australia have engineers and systems in place to design and build a custom configuration. maxon motor Australia have ESCON2 DC motor controllers in stock and are happy to demonstrate their use and features. Please feel free to call and book an appointment.
