maxon statement on the Coronavirus situation
Dear Customers and Suppliers
The whole world is fighting the Corona pandemic. Our highest priority in these times is the health of all people who work for and with maxon. That is why we continue to implement the measures of the WHO and the national health authorities.
We want to make an active contribution to curbing or at least slowing the spread of the virus. In the event of an infection at one of our locations, we have taken all necessary precautions to reduce the risk of infection of further employees as much as possible while at the same time maintaining operations.
We decided to cancel or postpone all trips that are not absolutely necessary. This also includes planned trips within our maxon group network, to and from customers as well as trips to and from suppliers.
The supply of materials remains a challenge. But thanks to the close cooperation with our suppliers, delivery bottlenecks in our supply chain could be avoided up to now.
For the immediate future, production will be working at least five days a week in shifts adapted to the situation.
As the current situation can change fundamentally every day, we will inform you about updates via our website: www.maxongroup.com
We look forward to continuing our collaboration and will do everything we can to remain a reliable partner, especially in this exceptional situation
